Dollar Energy Fund has relied on Prime Design Solutions to create a variety of websites, logos, and other branded materials that allow each of their programs, events and fundraisers to have a unique identity while still remaining part of the overall brand.

The Dollar Energy Fund is a Pittsburgh-based charity that assists low-income people with their utility bills. Founded in 1983, the charity administers hardship programs for 32 utility companies, working with more than 450 community-based organizations in 10 states.

Prime Design Solutions redesigned the Dollar Energy Fund website with a variety of custom features, including a map that helps clients locate all the available assistance programs that might apply to them, an events calendar, and a payment gateway so that people can donate or pay for fundraiser tickets.
The site was also created so that “microsites” for specific fundraisers, programs and events could be added as needed. Each of these microsites can be customized with color, photos and design, so that they have a unique identity while still remaining part of Dollar Energy’s overall site.

The Warmathon is the Dollar Energy Fund’s biggest fundraiser, a two-day radio and telethon to help Pittsburgh-area families struggling with utility bills. We developed a logo for the program, and created a microsite that includes an easily-updatable donation meter.
“Prime Design Solutions is a valuable resource that produces excellent results. The website they created for us hit each and every goal we set. They are engaged in our efforts and provide knowledgeable insights. Over the course of several projects, Prime has proven that they are an essential extension of our team. ”

Dollar Energy asked us to create a branding system for iPartner, giving three existing applications a new, modern look, while also adapting the applications to function well on tablet devices. We created a logo, usage guide and style guide.
